Engineering studies and feminist scholarship share a commitment to critical engagements that rethink and rework scholarly practices, particularly when they impact the material conditions of everyday life. At a moment in which many of us are aware of the politics
of our work in new ways, our considerations of the modalities of contestation and transformation have also been sharpened. From simple refusal to bold polemics, and from subtle transformations to full alternative institution-building, scholarship in these
areas of STS</div>
