Program invites applications for a new full-time, tenure-track Assistant
Professor position focused on Engineering, Social Justice, and inclusive STEM
studies to begin </span><span style="font-size:11.5pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Academic Year 2023-2024<span style="color:black">. The prog</span>ram is a leader in undergraduate
engineering education, offering a unique, interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts
degree in engineering at an undergraduate-only liberal arts college that offers
four ABET-accredited BS engineering degrees. The new faculty member<span style="color:black"> will teach courses at the intersections of engineering,
public policy, and inclusive STEM studies. Th</span>is<span style="color:black">
position will help to expand </span>the Program’s<span style="color:black">
course offerings and </span>research<span style="color:black"> </span>related
to<span style="color:black"> engineering and social justice, inclusive
practices in engineering education, questions of identity in the engineering
design process, and/or equity and inclusion in the implementation of
technologies for the public good. </span>The position is integral to the
strategic direction of our new Hanson Center for Inclusive STEM Education and
represents an exciting opportunity to help shape the scope and impact of this
interdisciplinary center as well as the Program, Engineering Division, and

have received a Ph.D. in engineering or other field that prepares them for this
